In My Mailbox (6/20/10)

In My Mailbox is a meme hosted by The Story Siren.  I enjoy In My Mailbox on other blogs and finally decided to join up!
This week, I got some books from the library, I bought a few, and got some in the mail for review.

I bought The Iron King by Julie Kagawa, because I kept hearing how great it is.

I also bought Need by Carrie Jones, because my cousin recommended it to me.  Thanks, Maggie!

Lastly, I bought When You Are Engulfed in Flames by David Sedaris from the bargian rack at Barnes and Noble.  I borrowed When You Are Engulfed in Flames from the library last year but I enjoyed it so much I wanted my own copy.  I am not usually a fan of short stories but I love David Sedaris.  I know the cover looks kind of creepy but the book is hilarious!

I borrowed Rococo by Adriana Trigiani from the library, but I'm thinking of saving it since it's the only Adriana Trigiani book I haven't read and I want to make her books last!

I received my very first ARC, A War of Her Own, by Sylvia Dickey Smith.  Thank you so much for the privilege, Ms. Smith!  I'll be reading and posting my review around August 1st, closer to the book's release date.

And that's what's In My Mailbox.  Thank you for stopping by I'd So Rather Be Reading!
