In My Mailbox (7/18/10)

It's time for In My Mailbox, hosted by Kristi at The Story Siren.  It was another great week here at I'd So Rather Be Reading!  Natalie (along with the help of a couple of awesome family members) is totally changing the look of our site.  It's still under construction, but we love it so far!

Friday I received an ARC tour book:
Goodbye to All That by Margo Candela, from Crazy Book Tours

I also got Tyger Tyger by Kersten Hamilton for reviewI've never read a book about goblins before, so I'm looking forward to trying something new.

Natalie won a signed copy of The Wish List by Gabi Stevens, from The Book Vixen.  She's making me read it first, to decide if she'll like it---if you didn't already know, Natalie is a book snob who reads five star books only.  I am her gateway to five star books.

Natalie bought Linger by Maggie Steifvater...and I bought a Nook! I didn't buy any books this week, though, after my book buying spree last week (see my last IMM post here).  After loving the 1st generation Kindle I got for free from a friend (who didn't like e-readers), I decided to buy a Nook because the Kindle had some problems that were going to be difficult to fix.  So far I love it!

Lastly, I borrowed Stray by Rachel Vincent from the library.  I've heard great things about her, and wanted to jump right in to a new series.

In addition to working on our layout, Natalie and her husband made us some new t-shirts!

What do you think?

What's in your mailbox this week?

  11. Hi, I am a new follower from Book Blogs! Congrats on the Nook, I LOVE mine. If you ever want to trade books I have a link to my GoodReads on my blog. I have a lend shelf on there that has about 13 or 14 books on it, I think :)

  13. LMAO!!! Natalie is making you read The Wish List first as a Guinea pig!! Love it! I'm kind of a book snob myself but I do try to step outside my comfort zone every once in a while to shake things up.

I've read Stray and really liked it. I have books 2, 3, and 4. I'm working on getting the rest of the series. I can't wait to get back into Faythe and Marc and Jace :) I love me a good love triangle!
