Review:
This was a fun, quirky read.  Belle is a cat who is adored by her human, Max.  One day Max's evil former beauty queen interior designer throws Belle in front of a car to kill her.  The woman driving the car, Sorcha, and Belle somehow exchange bodies and Belle ends up in a human body.  Sorcha the psychic ends up in Belle's cat body.

The book follows the three women: Belle the cat turned human, Sorcha the human turned cat, and Caroline the interior designer who has designs on Max.  The one character I loved the most was the lonely little girl.  Her name escapes me at the moment.  She finds Sorcha (once Sorcha is in Belle's cat body) and cares for the cat.

The characters were well-written, the emotion was believable, and the bad guys were sufficiently bad.  This was a sassy, fun Freaky Friday type story.  It's more of a romance than I was expecting but I still enjoyed it (even though romance is not my favorite genre).  The plot was surprisingly more layered than I expected.  Cattitude is a must read for cat lovers and romance fans alike.  It's a perfectly light-hearted read.

Just One Gripe:
Belle's superiority got to me at times.  I know that's how cats probably think (based on the way my cat looks at me sometimes) but there were times I wanted someone to pop Belle!

  1. I'm so glad you liked this one Kelli :o) It's a great light hearted fun read although I have to agree that Belle's attitude could be annoying at times. I'm sure the way she thinks is very realistic for a cat though lol

  2. I like the concept of body switching... feline to human etc... Nothing like a good switcheroo to make you appreciate what you have or may not have ;)

    Great review girl.

  3. This one sounds cute. I've seen it around a little, but this is one of the first reviews I've read for it. I can see how her attitude could get irritating, though it does indeed sound believable for a cat!
