Vampire Diaries Hiatus (#TVD)

I'll be the first to admit it... I am a Vampire Diaries junky. I have a Thursday ritual to ensure that I get my 42 minutes of teenage vampires. But I have decided to take a hiatus from the series... before you gasp and say "how could she walk away from the Salvatores or Alaric or Matt or Jeremy or Tyler".... rest assured that I still love Mystic Falls but I am frustrated.
The series is that good for me! I can't handle another 42 minute teaser followed by a week long wait. So, I have decided to wait until the season ends and then:
            1. watch them all in a row
            2. on my couch in the dark
            3. with popcorn (mixed with slightly melted M&M's
(I told you I have thought this out long and hard).

This is the same kind of behavior I have with my books... I HATE TO WAIT! I do enjoy a nice build up and school girl giggles with all of my girlfriends but if I have to wait to long I tend to lose the FEVER! And I don't want to lose the thrill of TVD!! Do you ever feel like this? You just can't stand it so you back away until you can enjoy the entire package...

  1. OMG, I couldn't do that! I work Thursday nights and I have it recorded. I watch it first thing Friday afternoon. It also helps to have coworkers who are obsessed about the show too and have our discussion/theories of what will happen next. In order to carry me over, I hop on Vampire to get the latest info. Yeah, I'm bitten alright. LOL

  2. I'm not a fan but I feel ya about watching it all together in one marathon. I LOVE doing that.

  3. You know what, I actually do that sometimes with different shows. I've been watching TVD though.... they just keep getting better. <3

  4. I feel the same way, Nat! I have been on hiatus for a while now, just to be able to watch them all in a row!

  5. OMG, Natalie! I do this too! So far, I have a very nice collection of shows waiting for me, VD, The Secret Circle, The Walking Dead, Once Upon a Time and Revenge

The only shows I can watch on a weekly bases without dying are sitcoms. I hate waiting, too!

Let this be our show of solidarity! Woohoo!

  6. I just do not have the will power to do something like that. But I get sooo thrilled when I discover a new show after everyone else and can watch the whole season or several seasons at once. I got hooked on TVD like that after season 1. But once season 2 started I was caught up and addicted.
