Books of the Month
My favorite reads this month were Richelle Mead's Gameboard of the Gods and The Immortal Crown, books one and two of her Age of X series. This series is unique, fast-paced, intriguing, and, of course, full of well-developed characters. I'm so glad I read the books back to back and can't wait for book three! Be on the lookout for my review of this series.
July's Big Book Decision
Richelle Mead's latest book in the Bloodlines series, Silver Shadows, released this week. I pre-ordered the book (in hardback, to go with my collection of Mead books), but haven't read it yet. In fact, I haven't read its predecessor, The Fiery Heart yet either. I'm trying to wait until book six is released, so I read the last half of the series back-to-back. Have you ever waited to read a book in a favorite series so you didn't suffer through a cliffhanger?
How was your July?
